Toddler group
(2 – 3 years)

In our Toddler group, the children start to function in groups as they learn to work together and cultivate the concept of friendship and classmates. At this level, they sit on chairs around tables and their activities are increasingly carried out as a group.

Painting and drawing
Playing outside
Picking strawberries

Our goals

Aside from focusing on the children’s learning development, the goal of this group is to provide a comprehensive programme that encompasses all areas that will help the youngsters gradually integrate into society as a whole.

In our Toddler group, the children develop their motor skills by using scissors, marking pens and plasticine, and they start to play games and follow rules. In addition, we work with parents to help the children learn to use the toilet and to eat by themselves so they can become autonomous in these basic life skills.

Daily programme

The day begins at 7 with the children’s arrival at the Center. They have two hours of free play before they are taken to the dining room for breakfast. They return to the classroom for a discussion on the topic of the week, and then begin group activities. At midday, the children have lunch in the dining room. By 1 pm, they are back in the classroom to take part in various activities. They may read or listen to storybooks and do some role-playing, or listen to relaxing music or songs while playing with plasticine. By 4 pm, they are back at home after another fun day at the Castle of Trilolis.
